Immigrants: A Source of Wealth?
KQED, in partnership with American Muslim Voice and Global Peace Partners, presents a free public forum that promotes understanding of complex immigration issues. Panelists will share their personal stories, discuss why people migrate to other countries, and sort myths about immigration from reality. Spanish translation will be provided.
The event will also feature a screening of clips from KQED’s original production “Immigration Calculations” (which airs on Friday, August 31 at 7:30pm and Sunday, September 2 at 4pm on KQED Public Television 9 with SAP in Spanish).
